What carries an uplift, and what does not
Two things raise a price. Nothing else does, whatever the hour or the day of the week.

Why we publish the dates
Every firm we surveyed has some form of event pricing. Not one publishes the dates it applies to, which means a customer finds out at the quote and cannot tell whether the number is a policy or an opinion.
When a date does carry an uplift, it is already inside the price the form shows you. It is never added afterwards, and it never appears at checkout as a line you did not agree to.
The published tables show the ordinary price for every route, and the hourly terms the price of a block of hours on an ordinary day.

Which dates carry an uplift?
Each date is published on the rate card before it applies, so you can check a date before you plan around it.
Will I see the uplift before I pay?
Yes. Where a date carries it, it is already inside the price the form shows you. It is never added afterwards and never appears at checkout as a line you did not agree to.
Is there a night or Sunday uplift as well?
No. Nights, Sundays, bank holidays and the Christmas period carry no uplift at all. A car at 05:40 on a Sunday costs what the table says.
What about booking at short notice?
A booking made less than three hours ahead carries a published uplift on any date, because a job that short cannot be chained with another. It is in the price before you pay.
How do I cancel or change a booking?
Cancel in your account. The refund is worked out from the version of the cancellation policy your booking was made under and shown to you before you confirm anything. To change a booking, use the "Request a change" link on it and we will reply.
