What First class is, and what it carries

A larger, quieter car with more room behind the front seats. For the journey that ends at a meeting rather than a hotel.

The seats and the luggage this class takes are shown with the price when you enter a journey, and a class that will not fit is greyed out with the reason.

When First class is the wrong booking

It carries no more people and no more luggage than Business, only more comfortably. If you need either, the class you want is an MPV, and it costs less than First.

The cars named are examples of the class, not a promise of a model. Before the pickup you are sent the make, the model, the colour and the registration of the car coming. The booking form greys out any class that cannot carry the passengers and bags you have entered, with the reason, rather than leaving it to the chauffeur to explain at the kerb.

First class from every airport

The published price tables cannot be read at this moment. The form at the top of the page prices your own journey through the same engine the checkout uses, so the number you see is the number you pay.

First class by the hour

This class can also be booked for a block of hours rather than for a single journey. The hourly terms give the minimum, the miles included in every hour and how time past the booked hours is billed, and the form at the top of the page prices your hours before you pay.

Questions about First class

How many people fit in First class?

First class seats the number shown with the price when you book. If what you enter in the form will not fit, the class is greyed out with the reason rather than taken as a booking you would only find out about at the kerb.

Will I get the exact car named on the page?

No, and we do not promise one. The cars named are examples of the class. You are sent the make, model, colour and registration of the actual car before the pickup.

Does the class change what is included?

No. Every class includes the same things: the airport charges, the tolls on the route, the congestion charge where it applies and your waiting after the aircraft lands. Only the car differs.

How do I cancel or change a booking?

Cancel in your account. The refund follows the version of the cancellation policy your booking was made under, and you see it before you confirm. To change a booking, use the "Request a change" link on it.

Which airports is First class priced from?

All seven: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton, London City, Farnborough and Biggin Hill. The table on this page gives the fixed price from each to every part of London, and a journey it does not show is priced by the form before you pay.

Can I have a child seat?

Yes. Child seats are free, up to two per car: rear-facing infant, forward-facing and booster. A third is charged, and a seat needs twenty-four hours’ notice; inside that, call us and we will fit one if we can.
